Is it possible that Google has exhausted all of their recruiting methods and found no one? Apparently, the only way to hire a fraud operations director at the merchant payment solutions department is publishing an ad in yahoo’s hotjobs site.

A more reasonable explanation can be that google is doing again what they do best, “building a hype”. One small classified ad can create a wave of publicity and a bigger wave of rumors. Are they really building a google wallet? Are they finally going to do something regarding Adsense fraud?

This small ad is the teaser and the anticipation builder. Most importantly, it provides a lot of free publicity.
